I recently came across this list on nickmom.com and I just had to share. Our daughter is 14 and I still find myself saying many these things almost on a daily basis! Of course I have been referred to as a helicopter mom, but I’m curious….am I alone on this??
Since becoming a mom, more things have come out of my mouth that shock me than I care to admit. Comes with the job, though, right?

LOL great list! The “Oh Really” stood out to me because I am still saying that and my kids are 20 and 22! Thankfully I no longer have to tell them to go poo and pee but my dog still hears that and a lot of these daily! 🙂

“What are you doing in there?” is something I constantly say to my youngest grandson (3) who loves to plunder in my bedroom. I’m always corraling him back to the fold with the rest of the grands. Love this list.

Haha yeah I think my Mum has said these to me a lot of times 😉 x

Yep, I say these a lot myself. I am pretty sure my mom did too, lol. Too funny how things change so much once we become moms and the things we say… I never thought I’d say no, and go ask your dad so much!

There are some really funny ones in there. I think I’ve said my fair share of them!

Ha ha! I think every mom has said every one of these at some point. Sometimes I can’t believe what comes out of my mouth to my kids – it’s like I’ve channeled my mother!

That’s a pretty standard list universally. Mom’s are alike in more ways then some would like to admit, LOL

Yep, I probably say all of those things, I mean with boys they are always doing disgusting things, so I’m always checking their manners. Funny list, and I’m guilty on all accounts.

I used to promise myself to never say all the annoying things that my mum used to say when I was a kid. Haha. I don’t even have kids yet, but I can totally see myself breaking that promise!

Hahaha great list! I don’t say number 3 much since I’m a single mom but has been making my ex be responsible for his own words by telling my son to go ask his Dad lol

I vaguely remember my Mom saying some of those to me–actually she still does and I am 65-thankfully we each have our own apartments!!

I have definitely said a lot of the things on that list. I also like to tell my daughter “I brought you into this world and I can take you out.” Kidding of course {half kidding}. 😛

This is funny! I do find myself saying it a lot to my kids. No!, go ask your dad, maybe later, I love you, go pee, just eat it, give me my phone back and get down from there. Kids don’t listen sometimes and I have to repeat myself lol.

I still say I have to go potty. I have a 9-year-old and a 12-year-old. I probably will catch myself saying it the rest of my life. I love Nick Mom!
